Hey guys, I just picked up this Yamaha EG 112C for $150. The guitar is physically in great shape—the neck is straight, no fret buzz, and the hardware is surprisingly clean. However, the bridge humbucker is silent, so there’s definitely a wiring issue or a dead pickup. Was this a fair price considering the fix needed?

Also, I’m getting a ton of static. I don't have an interface yet, so I’m going direct-in to my PC using a 1/4" to 3.5mm adapter. Is the static likely from the lack of a proper interface, or should I be worried about the guitar's shielding/grounding? Thanks in advance! I’m also using an iRig with my laptop, but the static persists regardless
