25 years ago, Ted Cruz abandoned rock music cuz of 9/11

One of my favorite clips of a politician blatantly pandering/lying when they don't need to.
From an interview during the 2016 primary campaign

Danarchy's final Kerry Cassidy mash-up (from the live show over the weekend)

The recording of my set from Chicago didn't turn out, so this will have to do until I can recreate it. But this way, I can do an instrumental version, and one with my commentary here and there explaining some of the songs I was playing and why they were important to myself and/or the KF world like I did during the live show, cuz I was yapping way more than I normally do...haha!
The beginning sounds a bit weird cuz I wanted to include a lil taste of the live audio from the room over the weekend, cuz yall are so supportive, even when I forget to do basic shit like turn my effects on🤦‍♂️
In the video/audio from my phone, I'm coming out of my Stelter "Enemy" remix, so I fudged the fade in a bit, but that's what you hear in the background right at the start, haha

DJ Danarchy will be playing a final KF-themed set at the Chicago live show!!!

BREAKING SNEAKY SNAKE NEWS!!!
I will be playing a final KF-themed set at the Chicago live show next weekend, because THIS IS A CELEBRATION, NOT A FUNERAL!

And we're gonna try our best to record everything in multiple ways to avoid a situation we can't control like what happened with the last Xray show recording!

I want to thank this community for enabling, and encouraging me to make stupid ass songs for my favorite podcast.
It has been a highlight of my career in music, but also my life generally because of how this community is a bright spot in the hell of the internet and politics.
So, Policy wonks - I can't thank yall enough for the support & love you've given me over these years. I love you all.
Praise Celine
🙏🐈
