Can we have the ocean salvage colours be more distinct?
Hello sailors
I've been really enjoying this game but just wanted to share a small point of feedback and see if any others shared the same opinion.
Every now and then I'll see some ocean salvage on the horizon, and if it's blue or yellow I'll make an effort to grab it. If it's plain white I'll ignore it.
The issue is that in some cases, the white and yellow colours are a bit difficult to differentiate. Depending on the elevation, time of day, and lighting, sometimes they can blend together. This has led to more than 1 instance of me trying to grab the salvage but being disappointed when I get closer.
No, I'm not colourblind - I've had myself checked. The screenshots show the difference fairly well, I think. All images were captured in the same session using the same graphics settings.
Images 1 and 2 are the same salvage, but image 1 is at a higher elevation where the lighting is more "neutral" and the salvage looks like a light yellow, whereas image 2 is near the water and the lighting is evidently more "blue" and the salvage looks pale white. Image 3 is the same salvage, and at the same elevation as image 1, but during early morning and it also looks white. Image 4 is actually a golden salvage at a different location during midday, but it has a very similar colour as image 1 which is a plain white salvage.
I know it's not a big deal, just thought to ask if others had any input. Maybe there's something in my graphics settings I can adjust?
