Looking to create safe way to monitor body goals without triggers
I’m 27 and have struggled with my relationship with food for years. I recently gained some weight and tried to use tracking apps, but the experience was a nightmare. The negative feedback when I missed a day or ate something unhealthy triggered anxiety attacks.
I've decided to build something for myself that actually feels safe. I want to move away from calories/macros and focus on bio-feedback and energy.
For those who have been through this:
What is the one 'feature' in traditional apps that makes you want to delete it immediately? (e.g., the streaks, the calorie budget, etc.)
If an app didn't use numbers, what 'metric' would actually make you feel successful? (e.g., how your clothes fit, your energy, your mood?)
How do you feel about workout tracking? Does seeing 'calories burned' help you, or does it make exercise feel like a chore?"
