Input from anyone with an OEM comfort seat
Recently purchased an OEM comfort seat from an online Honda dealer. Just wondering if other owners have terrible fitment like mine. There’s a massive gap that basically creates a window to the top of the battery. I can confirm that it’s installed on the 4 hooks & gas tank peg. My first thought was that it’s a counterfeit but the seat, plastic molding, and packaging look genuine. I reached out to the seller about this; they test fit another seat on a transalp in house & mentioned that a few others are experiencing similar fitment. My only thought is that it was designed for earlier years and some sort minor change on the 25 caused poor fitment. I verified the part number on the package matched what Honda Dreamshop called for. I’d appreciate input from others with this seat, Thanks!
