Help me find a good durable phone

Recently i broke the screen of my Motorola Edge 40, in my life i have only ever changed a phone if they broke because otherwise I don't really feel the need to do so. Unfortunately i am very clumsy and i drop my phone a lot (at least 2/3 times a year but generally always from pocket or hand level): for example this time my phone slipped from my hand at about 15 centimeters from the ground but on concrete, it fell on the edge and cracked (it also didn't have the protective film because i removed 2 weeks ago and replacing it on an edge phone is a pain).

So after this long introduction i want your help in finding a medium end phone that is durable, is smooth for routine activity (mostly social media) and has a good camera (i am not asking for a camera phone but i still want one that works well.

I heard about the Honor magic 8 pro (or even the 7 pro that i can find at less) and how it is marketed as super durable and i don't have a reason to doubt it but for that price I don't think it's worth it, the lite version instead seems too low end for what i am looking for. Also it is a very big phone and this could lead me to drop it even more frequently, maybe it could be better to find a smaller phone?

tldr: looking for a medium end durable phone with a good camera that can survive some falling.
