[seeking] videography, audio engineer, or media opportunities

Hello! My wife and I are moving from Colorado to the Bay to help with a family health situation and will be looking for employment starting in September.

She has been operating a successful sports and lifestyle video/photo company in the surrounding states for the past ten years. Her skills are in shooting video and stills as well as editing. Most of her work has been in capturing dance and similar sports, though she has also done real estate, corporate shoots, restaurant/bars, and weddings. She is looking forward to finding a good (hopefully arts related) company to work for rather than restarting her business in a very crowded market.

My skills are a bit more scattered and would muddy the waters on this post. Suffice it to say I am an experienced camera operator, recording/mix engineer, operations consultant, and a moderately skilled software dev. I am looking for an individual contributor job in the media sector that values results rather than hours, and understands that treating your clients/guests with hospitality is a key indicator of success.

This is a shot in the dark but if nothing else I would love to connect with people in these industries. I haven't lived in the Bay for nearly 20 years and we are both community oriented people that don't know anybody outside of family out there.

Anxiety, inappropriate urination, the works!

We have a three cat, one bunny house (all spayed and neutered). Our newest cat has been with us for about 2.5 years. We adopted him at one year old from the vet, he was either abandoned as a family was moving or he ran away and wasn't found while the family was moving. This becomes relevant later. He quickly bonded with my wife and at first we just thought he was super energetic and affectionate. My wife has work that is very seasonal, and in season she is sometimes gone for a week at a time. After the new cat experienced her first season we began having marking issues. He seems to be trying to scent mix to bring her home as he only pees on piles of clothes, blankets, the couch...

Now we are working on moving states and the issue has become almost too much to bear. We try to keep piles off the floor, we are using feliway, we play with him several times a day, we are constantly using nature's miracle, we have four litter boxes of different styles, the issue is independent of litter type, and we are trying to keep his routine as normal as possible with my wife being in her busy season while I'm trying to fix the house to get it ready to rent or sell. Still we are finding piss spots every single day. Sometimes it feels like our whole house just smells like cat pee.

We're not getting rid of him, but his behavior and anxious over-eager play with the other cats is adding so much stress to an already very stressful time. Does anybody have any advice? Please help.
