I’m an applied math MS student who has been offered a state job back in my hometown. The pay is roughly $43,000 yearly including benefits and a pension. It’s not much but I’ll likely be living with family back home. I’m currently working a retail job that I don’t hate necessarily but feels very unstable.

Honestly the biggest reason I’m kinda hesitant is because I’ll be giving up my cheap apartment but I’m afraid that I won’t be able to get a job like this when I graduate in a year or two.
