Hi there,

My girlfriend and I are stopping by nyc on May 27th. We wanted to try the new pizza studio tamaki. I understand booking was dropped a month ago for May but unfortunately, I didn’t even know this was a thing until last week.

My question is, does anyone know if they do walk-ins? Or is it resos only and are they strict about that?

I live in Williamsburg but happy to trek if needed. Im looking for a strawberry shortcake for my partner’s birthday (whole cake preferably). I keep hearing 3 names:

• Harbs
• Takahachi
• Veniero’s

My partner loves things that are not too sweet. So we tend to lean more into asian style cakes like Japanese style shortcakes. However if Veniero’s sweetness is alright, I might bite the bullet on that one just because I’ve heard so much. Thoughts on the three and how it compares?
