Antinatalism and elderly care

Hi, I am new to this sub so I don't know if this is an explored topic. Also, I would not describe myself as an antinatalist as I have a child and will probably have one more. But this philosophy is intriguing.

Now, I would assume ANs to "celebrate" (for a lack of a better word) the fall in populations in some western countries. This however brings up the question for elderly care. Less children mean less people available to care for these elderly people, as well as performing other jobs necessary for society.

Since most ANs are concerned with minimizing suffering, how is this problem resolved?

I am an interdisciplinary PhD student and have recently started to feel like science is forever emergent. Science is set up to always delve deeper into discoveries, then discovering more discoveries from previous discoveries—an ever-emergent plethora of data, theory, and analysis.

What philosophical theories are there that deal with the emergence of phenomena? Preferably, the idea that attention prompts this emergence.
