I was driving my car and noticed a slight clicking coming from inside the steering wheel. When I went to turn the wheel, the clicking got worse, and then there was a loud “clink” sound. Immediately after, I got “Error: Transmission” and “Error: Airbag”messages and my horn isn’t working either.

I’m assuming this is the clock spring AGAIN and not the actual transmission as the same thing happened last year and Volkswagen replaced it under warranty…

Has anyone else had this happen twice or had a clock spring fail again SO soon? It’s super frustrating.
