Have had a cavity in between 14 and 13 for a while, ignored it cause of insurance. Went to floss last night and my tooth just crumbled. Appointment today, dentist said either I replace the tooth or get a root canal, he said it may be salvageable. Heard the horror stories and want a second opinion. Is a crown/filling without the root canal out of the picture?
Please help.
