first off: this is not a dig on any of the movie tavern employees at all. im not blaming them and not really interested in conversations where the blame is put on them.

but what is the deal with movie tavern? their programming is so weird. they'll show some random christian movie that might as well be straight to streaming, but they'll ignore releases that seem like they must have higher rates of attendance. are there way more people here who would rather see "gods not dead 19: for real guys hes fine" over "i love boosters"???

and whats weird is i have a friend from my hometown -- i come from a much bigger city with much better theaters, where an AMC is where you go when you have to settle -- who works at movie theaters, and she says Marcus Theaters are usually really really good.

have any of you been to another marcus theaters? are they all like this? is the demographic of moviegoers here really this weird? and why doesn't syracuse have a single actually good movie theater? (regal would be fine if it weren't weirdly hot all the time and in the depressing colossal mall!)

hi all! i have like five pairs of pants i need hemmed. i have a few other pieces of clothing id like to get altered further too, mostly taking things in, but i honestly have absolutely zero idea who to go to out here and what prices are like for just getting something hemmed to start.

i know there are other options like hem tape, but something more permanent would be preferable. would really appreciate recommendations and around what you paid per pair of pants!
