So, hey there, I watched MD for the first time ever two weeks ago. I liked it! But, like many other people, I didn't understand a lot of things about it. And, to my surprise, one of these things is… V’s whole thing.
Let me explain. I certainly don’t hate her, no, I guess she’s pretty likeable. But somehow her personality traits just— slipped past me when I was watching the show (NOT BECAUSE I WAS STARING AT HER HIPS ALL THE TIME). I dunno, it seemed to me that she’s the most unstable character, first she’s nice, then she’s mean, then she’s strict, then she JUST WANTS TO MURDER EVERYONE BECAUSE ITS FUN. So yeah, I remembered her as “complex”. If someone asked me to describe every MD character’s personality, I would tell them so much more about J than V, honestly.
The thing is, I understand that I’m wrong at least at some point. So I want you guys to correct me. I trust you. Go on and tell me everything that’s (in your personal opinion) to love about V! (BESIDES HER HIPS)
I'll say right away that I'll probably watch it no matter what. I've heard a lot of positive things about it, I really like the character designs, so I'm definitely looking forward to seeing it.
But there’s something that interests me: I have a friend who watched this anime, and they claim that there is almost not a single well-written female character in it. Which disappointed me, because the characters whose designs I like are mostly female. :’D
I’M NOT SAYING ANYTHING, no, I just want to ask you: how much do you personally think this is true?
