Subject: Do I really need a Pure Sine Wave UPS for Active PFC?

Hey guys, quick question: I have a PSU with Active PFC. I’ve heard they don't play well with cheaper UPS units (Modified Sine Wave).
Has anyone actually had their PSU fail or system crash because of this? Or is it mostly a theoretical concern? Thanks!
