Joined a scenario and was told the system was a homebrew. Turns out, it was by another player in the scenario, not the GM. When figuring out the system, I was then told that the player who made the system will be the one handling all the character creation and skill balancing.

This feels like a red flag for someone with a 'main character syndrome' to be puppeteering the GM. Is this just me?
