My 1.5 year old has had a high fever now for 5 days. Back story.
He has tubes put in his ears the 23rd of April. On Monday the 27th we noticed a fever. He gets up to 104.8. He saw his pediatrician the 29th. She said she wasn’t sure if he had an ear infection and put him on an antibiotic and a steroid ear drop. That night he got up to 105 so next day the 30th took him to the ER. He has a very bad ear infection. I ask do I give him doses in the middle of the night or let him sleep is cause he WILL jump to 105+ if I do not. Him and I are not sleeping. He is exhausted, I’m exhausted. I’m ready for my baby to feel better. I know sleeping is the way of the body to recover but 105 is just so dangerous for a 1.5 year old.
