Hey everyone! I recently refinished a black dresser and let it cure in my garage (around 50°F) for about two weeks. I used Behr water-based satin paint and finished it with a satin water-based polyurethane topcoat. Everything looked great before delivery.
Last night we delivered it to my client and explained there was still about two weeks left for full curing. After she unwrapped it, she noticed some cloudy streaks on the surface.
I’m wondering-would adding another coat of paint (without a topcoat) help even it out, or is there a better fix? She’s on a bit of a time crunch since the piece will be going into storage in about 3 weeks, so if I need to correct it, I’d have to do it ASAP.
