Looking for a technical cofounder — operations platform

I run a small auto-transport carrier and I've been building a TMS

(transportation management system) for vehicle carriers — the people

hauling finished cars on trailers between dealerships, auctions, ports,

and individuals. The pain is personal: I'm using my own platform every

day.

The market

US auto-transport carriers , Most of them run on:

- Super Dispatch or Ship. Cars (load boards that bolted a TMS on as an

afterthought)

- Spreadsheets, group chats, and phone calls

The incumbents won because they own the broker side of the marketplace,

so carriers are stuck using their ops tools. And it shows — half the

basic carrier workflows are missing or half-built.

What's built

- Web dashboard — Next.js 16 / React 19 / TypeScript / Tailwind /

Supabase.

- Native iOS driver app — SwiftUI. Sign-in, trip list, order detail

- Compliance module — audit logs, structured

permissions.

- Marketing site, signup flow, tiered subscriptions.

- Sentry, PostHog

Heavy AI-assisted development on my side, but the architecture is real , not a click through demo.

Where I need a cofounder

I'm the operator and domain side. I drive the business model, talk to

carriers, design the workflows, write specs. I'm not a senior engineer,

and the codebase is at the size where it genuinely needs a technical

owner who can:

- Make architectural decisions for the next 100K lines

- Lead security/compliance work
- Hire 1–2 more engineers when we're ready to scale

Stage

Early conversations with [3–5] small carriers

Who I'm looking for:

- Senior full-stack (TypeScript / Next.js / Postgres) OR senior iOS

(Swift / SwiftUI)

- Multi-tenant SaaS or logistics/fintech background is a big plus

- US time zones preferred (carriers are US-based, support hours matter)

- Likes the niche — auto-hauling isn't glamorous, but the customers are

loyal, the market is fragmented, and the incumbents are coasting

Offering meaningful equity — I'm looking for an actual cofounder, not a

Hire.

If this sounds like your kind of problem, drop a comment or DM.
