Looking for a cofounder to build a blind box collectible toy brand

I have an idea that’s somewhere between Pop Mart, Funko Pop’s and Pokemon cards. I already have visual mockups and some ideas on how to make content for the social media and market it. The goal is to have someone maybe with toy industry experience to get this to manufacture, and ideally to secure funding or licensing/acquisition from a larger toy company. I have a marketing and design background, and I’m pretty handy with making things look good very quickly - bit of a jack of all trades and master of none, which is useful in early stages. I’m mainly looking for someone who can advise on route to market, and move the needle with the business development and getting it off the ground. Someone who can bring a professional attitude to the table and believes in the idea. Willing to share the idea in DMs and everything I have so far. Also, in terms of funding I can fund mostly everything we need up to a point. Equity can be discussed but will be dependent on contribution. For example if I am paying for everything, which I’m happy to do, it will be a smaller stake than say 50/50 but I’m happy to be generous with sweat equity for the right individual. Thanks

Looking for Technical Co-Founder / AI Agent Engineer for Loraloop Autonomous AI Marketing

Looking for Technical Co-Founder / AI Agent Engineer for Loraloop

I’m building Loraloop, an autonomous AI marketing platform for founders, small businesses, freelancers and eCommerce brands who don’t have time to manage marketing every day.

Not looking for agencies.

Not looking for development companies.

This is for someone who wants to build seriously from early stage and take long-term ownership.

Ideal background:

- AI agents / LLM workflows

- RAG / knowledge base systems

- Backend architecture

- TypeScript / Node.js / Python

- Multi-agent orchestration

Hardcore B2B Marketer Looking to Build With Serious Founders

Been deep in B2B marketing for the last few years.

Worked with agencies and B2B companies across different industries and markets, mainly helping them generate pipeline through outbound, email marketing, LinkedIn, lead gen systems, and positioning.

I’m not the “growth hacker” type who just throws around buzzwords. I genuinely enjoy understanding markets, buyer psychology, messaging, and building systems that bring conversations and revenue.

Recently realized I don’t just want to work for companies anymore. I want to build with people who are solving real problems.

So now I’m looking for a founding marketer role.

Preferably with early-stage founders who are building something meaningful and need someone who can own growth from the ground up, experiment fast, talk to users, generate demand, and help shape GTM.

I’m especially interested in:

  • SaaS
  • AI tools
  • B2B products
  • Service businesses with strong product potential
  • Anything with a real problem worth solving

I may not have a fancy FAANG background, but I know how to get attention, start conversations, and create opportunities from zero.

If you’re building something interesting, would love to connect.

Looking for an app dev

I’m currently building an application that is ~70% complete and entering a stage where backend reliability, code quality, and system architecture are critical. I’m looking for a skilled app developer to collaborate as a early contributor, with a primary focus on conducting a thorough audit of the existing backend, identifying inefficiencies and areas for improvement, and helping refine the system for scalability and production readiness.

The app already integrates multiple APIs(OpenRouter,CoinStats and Tenderly) but it still needs thoughtful optimization and structural enhancements to an end product. So looking for an app dev with experience in backend system.

Our startup is 3 months old and my co-founder has already lost trust in me looking for honest advice

So me and my technical co-founder started a B2B SaaS business about 3 to 4 months ago. My idea, I brought in the main prospect and I do all the outreach and sales. He builds the product. We went 50/50.

Problem is he’s full time on it and I’m not. Got a day job I can’t walk away from just yet. We’ve actually got decent traction. Main prospect is at trial stage, a few others in the pipeline. But things between us are getting tense.

He’s lost confidence in me after a pricing conversation with a prospect didn’t go well. I’ll be honest, that one was on me. I’m also not going to pretend I’ve got loads of business experience. I’m learning as I go and I think that’s become a real issue for him.

His argument is he’s carrying most of the risk. Time, money, everything. I get that. But my counter is the idea came from me and without the relationships I’ve built there’s no business to risk anything on.

We both want this to work. But we’re stuck on whether 50/50 still makes sense and whether the trust is there anymore.

Anyone been through something similar? What did you do? Did you sort it out or did it fall apart?

Hi guys,

As we know it is all about the content nowadays. It is fairly easy to build a product, but marketing is the more difficult part. If you are interested in building a specific type of self awareness and connection / dating ai platform, do reach out.

London founder looking for technical collaborator/cofounder for AI ecommerce operations platform (UK/EU only)

I’m currently building Finnito, an AI-powered operational platform for ecommerce operators and brands.

The core problem is pretty simple:
most ecommerce teams are still running critical business decisions across fragmented dashboards, spreadsheets and disconnected tools. The operational layer is chaotic, reactive and heavily manual.

I come from the ecommerce operations side and have spent the last few years working across Amazon, Shopify and marketplace ecosystems. That work contributed to:
• £1M+ Shopify revenue
• multiple Amazon UK bestselling products
• operational systems that significantly reduced loss and return issues inside a UK ecommerce business

One side of the platform is already live:
Vision Studio, an AI product photography tool for ecommerce brands.

The second product is currently in active development and focuses more on operational intelligence, workflow structure and decision support.

What I’m looking for:
Someone technical who enjoys thinking in systems and infrastructure, not just frontend execution. Backend architecture, AI workflows, reasoning systems, APIs, product infrastructure etc.
UK and Europe only please.

Also trying to approach this realistically:
I’m more interested in finding someone good to build with first than forcing “cofounder” labels too early. If the working relationship is strong, the structure can evolve naturally from there.
Happy to share more privately if there’s alignment.

IMPORTANT QUESTION...

Finding a co-founder is the hardest thing I've done as a founder. Anyone else?

Tried everything. YC co-founder matching, LinkedIn, Reddit, random platforms full of people who just want free development work.

Never really found what I was looking for.

Curious how others went through this how did you actually find your co-founder? Or are you still looking?

Unpopular opinion Hiring devs through resumes is basically broken

A resume mostly tells you how well someone can market themselves.

Now with AI, anyone can generate a polished CV in minutes.

The bigger issue:
startups usually don’t need “a developer.”
They need someone already deep in their exact domain.

Compiler infra, distributed systems, AI tooling, kernel, embedded, low-level systems…

Those engineers are hard to discover through normal hiring platforms.

That’s partly why I started building Shiftza — to surface engineers through real open-source work instead of resumes.

Also looking for a cofounder who’s interested in this space.

Looking for a Cofounder/Business Partner

Hey everyone — I’m building Shindy, a social discovery platform focused on helping people find things to do, meet new people, and explore their city through an interactive event map.

Think: Google Maps + Instagram + Eventbrite combined into one social experience.

We are in the very beginning stages meaning the app hasn’t even launched yet. I want someone to own Shindy with me.

The goal is to make going out feel easier, more spontaneous, and more social — whether that’s:

  • running clubs
  • pop-up events
  • cooking classes
  • networking events
  • house parties
  • random community meetups
  • rooftop parties

We’ve already been actively building for several months and currently have:

  • UI/UX designs
  • interactive map functionality
  • admin dashboard development
  • Stripe Connect integration
  • verification systems
  • host reputation systems
  • branding + social media strategy in progress

I’m looking for someone who:

  • genuinely believes in the vision
  • understands startup chaos
  • is creative/resourceful
  • can help scale product, growth, operations, or tech
  • wants to build something culturally relevant and long-term

Bonus if you have experience in:

  • startups
  • mobile/social apps
  • growth marketing
  • engineering
  • community building
  • nightlife/events/hospitality
  • creator economy

I’m not looking for someone who just wants a title — I’m looking for someone who wants to help build something meaningful from the ground up.

The vibe of SHINDY:

  • social

  • modern

  • culture-driven

  • community-first

  • “get people off their phones and into real life”

  • Sweat Equity Only: No upfront pay — equity offered in exchange for work

  • Advisor/Minimal Equity: Symbolic or low equity, typically

Also optional: Team Forming (seeking collaborators) vs Startup Ready (Idea + MVP ready, seeking specific help)

If interested, DM me !

Let’s build something people actually use in real life.

LF work

I am a 20 year old introvert. I have tried to do a startup on my own (I am still doing it) which has not worked for months. I think I have some experience to give advice if needed. I would also like to get into programming. What I have used: javascript, react, firebase, python (scraping) and github for version control

Looking for technical co-founder — restaurant delivery SaaS, equity based

Hey r/cofounder,

We're building Chop Chop — a commission-free delivery logistics platform for restaurants tired of paying DoorDash 30% per order.

Not a marketplace. Restaurants take their own orders, process their own payments, and dispatch independent drivers directly. Flat $199/month subscription. No commission ever.

V1 is live and validated. We have pilots ready in San Diego and Phoenix, demand proven at $20/lead, and a Techstars application in progress.

We need a technical co-founder to own the build of V2 — React Native mobile, SaaS web portal, Stripe Connect, POS integration via Deliverect, and voice-activated dispatch.

Offering 10-15% equity with milestone-based vesting. CTO title. Seat at the table from day one.

We're Troy and Wil — I ran five McDonald's locations in South Africa and Wil has 15+ years in sales. We know the restaurant problem inside out. We need someone who knows how to build.

If this sounds interesting DM me and let's talk.

Serious Co-founder

I'm want to build an AI startup and I'm looking for a co-founder.

Here's my honest situation:

✅ I have the idea, the vision, and the drive

❌ I don't have someone to build it with

VCs like YC back teams, not just individuals — and honestly, I get it. The best companies are built by people who push each other.

But finding the right co-founder isn't easy:

— Not someone random

— Not someone lazy

— Not someone who treats this like a hobby

I want someone who's:

🔥 All-in (not splitting focus with 3 other things)

🧠 Strong in AI/engineering or growth/sales

📍 Reachable and responsive (same timezone preferred)

⚡ Fast executor — ideas are cheap, shipping matters

If this sounds like you, DM me. Let's build something worth building.

Seeking Founding Engineer

Hi All,

Posting here again to look for a founding engineer role.

Quick context on our startup:

Stage: Two paying SaaS customers (investment management + insurance verticals). Three active pilots and self-funded to date. $2M seed round in active VC conversations.

What we build: Production-grade AI agents for real estate deal documents, offering memoranda, PPMs, tour books, lender packages as our initial wedge. The thesis is narrow-and-deep vertical AI vs. horizontal foundation-model deployment.
Engineering problem: Structured extraction from messy source documents (40+ different rent roll formats, T-12s, broker packages), agent architecture with human-in-the-loop validation gates, brand template fidelity per customer, source-traceable output.

What we'd offer:

Founding-engineer-tier equity
Cash accrued as backpay during pre-funded period, paid in full at seed close or specific revenue milestone
Real product ownership, direct customer relationships, no enterprise overhead
Open to contract-to-hire if that's a better starting structure for you

What we're looking for: Engineer who's shipped real LLM/RAG/agent systems end-to-end with platform-architecture instincts. Specifically someone who thinks about both vertical execution today and horizontal platform tomorrow. Strong candidates have built or contributed to:

Multi-tenant agent architectures (per-customer configuration on shared infrastructure)
Document processing pipelines (extraction, transformation, structured generation)
Agent orchestration with state management, validation gates, and observability
Evaluation infrastructure that scales across document types and customer configurations
Production LLM ops (cost/latency optimization, retrieval/context management, version control)
Familiarity with emerging standards like MCP, function calling architectures, or similar

This sub gets the assignment better than most so I'll be direct.

The no-code movement solved half the problem. You can build almost anything now without knowing how to code, which is genuinely incredible and wasn't true five years ago. But there's still a gap that nobody talks about. Even with the best no-code tools you still have to know which tools to pick, how to connect them, how to write copy that converts, how to set up ad accounts, how to source products, how to structure a funnel. The learning curve didn't disappear, it just moved.

Most people in this sub know exactly what I mean. You've spent a weekend deep in Zapier trying to get two things to talk to each other that should just work. You've rebuilt your Webflow site three times because the first two didn't convert. You've watched your Notion dashboard get more elaborate while the actual business stayed the same size.

That's the gap Locus Founder closes.

You describe what you want to build. The AI handles everything else. It sources products directly from AliExpress and Alibaba (or sell YOUR OWN digital services, products, or content), builds a real storefront around them, writes conversion-optimized copy, then autonomously creates and runs ads on Google, Facebook and Instagram. No Zapier. No Webflow. No piecing together eight tools that half work. Just a running business.

If you don't have an idea yet it interviews you and figures out what makes sense for your situation.

We got into YCombinator this year and we're opening 100 free beta spots this week before public launch. Free to use, you keep everything you make.

For the people in this sub specifically, this isn't a replacement for no-code tools for people who love building. It's for everyone who wanted the outcome but never wanted to become a tools expert to get there. Big difference.

Beta form: https://forms.gle/nW7CGN1PNBHgqrBb8

Happy to answer anything about how it works under the hood.
