Today I had a woman order a “crab quesadilla”. Our menu features a crab-shrimp quesadilla, so no problems. She eats nearly ALL of the quesadilla, one bite with a shrimp left.

This is when she calls me over to tell me she’s allergic to shrimp!!!??!!

I was in disbelief. Shrimp is in the name of the dish, no warning of allergies while ordering, and ate nearly the whole thing without tasting the shrimp?? That was a first, wow.
