So i got prescribed Econazole Nitrate 1% Cream for balanitis and im on day 3. My foreskin seems irritated and itchy and a little red on one side. When the heck will this stop?! Is it this damn cream? Anyone ever use this cream? Its irritating me down there and its pissing me off. No i did not use any steroid cream all i used was this cream^.
I had a virtual appt with a doc and showed my foreskin had a bit of red around the area and also have a small cut on my foreskin after i had sex. I had intercourse without realizing i had a bit of red on foreskin (no swelling or pain). Just a bit itchy. Anyways the doc prescribed me Econazole Nitrate 1% Cream, has anyone tried this? Any sort of reactions from using this? I see everyone uses clotrimazole 1% so thats why its throwing me off a bit.
I have a small tiny tear on my foreskin right by the frenulum. Its about as thin as a hair and is super small. It does hurt a bit if i get hard (with it touching my boxers). I have had a history of getting balantis before where my foreskin would turn red and swell up. My foreskin is good aside from that tear. I wanted to apply clotrimazole, but dont think its balantis coming back. Anyone have a similar thing? Should i just apply the cream or would that make it worse?
