I AM CONFUSEDDDD
18F here. These are the college options I’m realistically looking at right now:
- BMSCE - I think I can get a CSE-related branch there, and even in the worst case I should get ECE.
- RVCE - lower/core branches
- BIT Sindri - Chemical
- JIIT Noida - CSE
I worked really hard for COMEDK and honestly I’m happy with what I might get at BMSCE. The problem is that my parents think Bangalore is too far from home, and they’re trying REALLY hard to convince me to drop the Bangalore options altogether.
They strongly want me to join BIT Sindri because it’s closer and cheaper, but I want a tech/software career, and I genuinely feel that’ll be much harder from Chemical at BIT Sindri.
That leaves JIIT Noida CSE, it’s still far, but much closer than Bangalore.
But realistically speaking, if I can get BMSCE (CSE-related/ECE), does JIIT Noida CSE make more sense? Or should I fight for Bangalore?
Would really appreciate honest opinions from seniors/students, especially regarding placements, coding culture, opportunities, and long-term growth.
