On my YouTube channel, I create educational long-form videos in English, intended for people from English-speaking countries: the US, UK, Australia, Canada etc.
Physically, I am in India. I do not sell to anyone in India so the Indian audience watching my videos is not beneficial. I get a lot of traffic on my other social media and I've been considering sending people to my Youtube instead of letting them go nowhere. The only reason I haven't done it so far is because I don't want to teach the Youtube algorithm that my viewership is from India.
How can I get Youtube to show my content to more people in the English speaking countries?
If I get Youtube subscribers from India, will that mean Youtube will show my content to Indian non-subscribers more often than, say, American non-subscribers?
