Hi! I am about to start knitting this pattern but would like to make the neck a mock neck instead of this neck. I’ve made a couple shirts and sweaters, but am still not comfortable going off-pattern.

My general thought is that I should use a mock neck pattern to start, then switch to this but I’m not really sure how to know that I have enough length and increases to get there.

Am I looking at this wrong? I really just need some help thinking through it.
