Last minute cancelled in SEA
Was about to board a SEA-FRA flight to Ljubljana on Lufthansa today when the flight was abruptly cancelled with 300+ people standing at the gate. Everything seemed fine until boarding time
Was awful to learn last minute and after hours of travel since we had to travel a ways to drop off our kids and get to the airport early.
Then we were told to collect baggage and go to the ticket counter for rebooking. Rebooked on delta through AMS and BRU.
Still waiting here at SEA for a new flight that will take many more hours and has an extra stop. Is this a common occurrence on Lufthansa long haul?
I’m getting sick of their issues, last month I got delayed and almost missed my connection in MUN with a different Lufthansa flight out of seattle and the excuses were just laughable (had to re-route due to closed Canadian airspace and then a 2nd delay to add more fuel) only caught the connection in MUN because leg 2 was slightly delayed also.
