Just remembering what he did

Reading some of the posts on here made me remember what my ex did even though it was 20 years ago now.
I had a 6 year old daughter and a 6 week old son when we left him because he had broken my arm and I had to have metal pins and plates put in.
My mobile phone blew up with messages from him and one of them really did get to me it was if you think I am letting you have the f...... cot then you have got another thing coming. It backfired on him though because a kind neighbour of my dad's let me have her old cot because her baby had outgrown it and was using a proper bed, she let us have it for nothing!!
He also said that his mother had died, so imagine my surprise when she turned up wanting to speak to me 2 days later.....
He sent his mother to tell me that he was too traumatised to go to work and that he was going to lose his job and it would be my fault but if I go back he would go straight back to work.
He took my daughter when she was outside playing in my dad's garden and threatened me with never seeing her again unless I come back too.
Please everyone stay strong if you have left your abuser and please remember they will never change.
