Upper Peninsula, Juneteenth, Too Buggy?
Hi all. Planning a backpacking trip from Chicago over the weekend of June 19-21. How bad are the black flies around the Pictured Rocks area (online sources are saying that is peak season)? I know the answer is probably "it depends." In your opinion, is the uncertainty worth going somewhere else that weekend? Thanks.
