I've run across a few US expats in my community who are freelancers with an LLC / S-Corp setup, earning income from US clients to their US bank accounts in dollars. I'm seeing that this is more common than I had initially thought.

Do you know of anyone who has gotten audited while paying full taxes to the US, and not claiming FEIE or FTC while abroad, and not paying dues to their local country?

If so, what happened?
