Ok, so I’m 24 and my sister is 36. I co-sign for her to get a new car because I wanted to build my credit and take her old car. I know it was very stupid. But I was desperate for a older car because I travel a lot for work as an electrician and I didn’t want to jeopardize the new car with wear and tear, so I let her keep the new car and I stick with her old one. Anyway, shes just tells me that she got 3 months behind of payments and I freak out. I didnt have the money for 3 months, so since its under the risk of repossession I told her to switch cars and I’ll be responsible for the upcoming payments and she would need to pay the 3 months behind. I then go meet her to pick up the car and there’s a dent on the back, unregistered, and no insurance. So I’m like wtf are you doing. So I waste most of my money to get it registered, put under my insurance, and pay 1 month of payment all in one day. So after having the car for a couple of weeks the car got repoed. Now I’m stuck having to pay 2 months and extra charges to get it out because of my stupid sister carelessness. I need the car for work and I call my sister if she could make the payments because I don’t have it till next week and she flat out tells me that she doesn’t have it right now and I need to fix it. Look I know I made this decision, but damn she literally ruining my life right now.
I also helped her pay for her surgery, babysit for free, pay some of her bills, and among other things. Idk I think she starting to take my kindness for weakness. So AITAH?
