US First Time Expedited Passport Timeline
Also somewhat of an update!
I had posted 5/1 asking what my options were for a 5/19 travel date as my USPS kept cancelling my appointments (USPS was and still continues being the only accessible passport place near me)
Here is my timeline!
5/2 - Applied while out of town at another USPS
Paid for all the expedited options, also noticed they had a lot of applicants from my city.
5/12 - Passport updated to processing
Due to me traveling 5/19 I called the help line and explained my situation
5/13 - Made an appt for the nearest Passport Agency (8 hr away) for Monday, 5/18, but was informed that they would sent a rush notice to the office processing my passport to see if anything could be done.
5/14 - Received a UPS notification by end of day stating there was a Next Day Air coming from the US Department of State
5/15 - As I was leaving the house in the morning to go to work my UPS guy pulled up and handed me my package with my passport & birth certificate inside it!
* I also cancelled my Agency appt
