I’m starting a CSI position soon and haven’t had my first day yet. Does your department have any specific policy on acrylic/gel nails for CSI personnel?

Interviewed for a civilian position with a police department (texas) on May 28th. Got a call back July 31st to move forward with the process.
Started my background, fingerprints, and drug test on August 7th. I was told it should take 1–2 weeks to hear back.
I still haven’t heard anything (just impatient since still got a week left)
Is that generally a good sign, or would they contact you sooner if there was an issue?

I use to smoke THC ( flower) heavily. I stopped July 25th I have a drug test coming any time after august 20th through the end of September. ( Date no specified so can't really rely on synthetic pee). I read online that working out and hydrating can help with eliminating the metabolites, but wanted to hear you guys opinion. 5'0 190lbs F ( Urine Test)
