I’m 30F and he’s 21M. He knows I’m 9 years older but asked me out anyway. We met in the wild. I said yes because I’m definitely attracted to him but I also am apprehensive since 21 year old men are not known for being mature and ready for anything substantial. But this also doesn’t have to be anything substantial since it’s a first date and possibly only date depending on how this goes. Trying not to psyche myself out of something that could be fun and short lived because my brain immediately goes to “Is this my husband?” And it’s not just because I’m newly 30. My brain is just rotted from the inside out from rom com novels and I want the meet cute that this was but with someone more age appropriate. Is that too much to ask??
