I've been using a triples setup of the AOC 24G1WG4 for years now. They're curved, 24" 144hz, 1080p panels. I recently installed a 5070ti and I am looking to upgrade to 1440p.

  • I work remote (VDI) and game on the same machine.
  • I have a budget of around $500-600.
  • I'd like to keep the ability to select whatever combo of monitors will be work vs. home at any given time. (do most ultrawide monitors allow you set up distinct 'partitions' that could be recognized as individual monitors?)

I have no idea how to proceed. In a dream world, I could have my exact current setup, but just 1440p. That would be the only change. But nobody seems to make a 24". A single ultrawide would be fine if I could virtually split it into multiple sections that are recognized as selectable monitors. Triple 27" will not fit on my desk, or come too close to not fitting.

If anybody can offer advice I would be truly grateful.

Trying to figure out which is the rootstock and which is the good fruit trunk. Ive been cutting away the stuff with thorns, but only the darker trunk and its branches seem to produce fruit. Still waiting for this summer to see what it bears overall. But is anyone able to tell me for sure which of those two different colored trunks to cut away/keep? Thanks for any insights.
