A name like Tommy Conway should be in League Two or at the very least, League One. It feels wrong to see someone with that name vying for a place in the Premier League.

Watching Villa v Forest on TNT and Fletch said that Ollie Watkins is the first person to score for Villa in a European semi-final since Moussa Diaby a couple of seasons ago.

A couple of seasons ago? Surely that’s far too recent for a ‘first goal in a European semi final since’ - the threshold for that kind of stat has got to be much longer. I was expecting the answer to be someone in the 80s.

Just something I’d noticed that whenever Man Utd play Liverpool, whoever’s playing away seem to wear white most of the time and I always associate this fixture with red home shirts and white away shirts. Are there any other fixtures where the kits are always nailed on beforehand? Does anyone else pick up on this or is it finally time for me to get out there and make some friends?
