Looking for a cloud backup that won't kill me on retrieval costs

I’m trying to set up a solid cloud backup for my NAS, but I’m hitting some walls. I looked at AWS S3 Glacier, but the retrieval fees look like a total trap for large datasets if you ever actually need to restore. Then I checked out BackBlaze, but I'm seeing a lot of mixed feedback lately regarding their support and upload speeds for enterprise-scale files.

I need something that’s actually built for disaster recovery, not just cold storage. Any solid recommendations that are reliable but won't result in a massive surprise bill during a crisis?
