This Brand New Day Fanart Playfully Turned Hulk Into a Depressed Doomer
A simple two-panel comic from artist @darentseta has struck a nerve by making Hulk's sadness weirdly adorable. The gag skewers Bruce Banner's endless personal struggles, layering them over his rage-monster persona with green text overlays. It is short, silly, and it stings just a little more than you expect.
The top panel opens with pure menace. Hulk looks like nothing but fury, growling out "No banner, no girl..." as if listing off everything already gone wrong.
It sets up the joke as a straightforward angry-Hulk beat, the kind of glowering intensity the character is famous for across the comics and films.
Then the bottom panel quietly guts you. The same big guy sits completely broken, head hanging, while Spider-Man pats his back like a supportive little brother. The overlay piles it on, no friends, no money, no confidence, no future, before Spidey softly offers a gentle "There there, big guy" to comfort him.
It works because it hurts a little bit. Bruce Banner has always been Marvel's ultimate tragic figure, all genius and loneliness plus a permanent identity crisis simmering under the anger. The meme simply says that quiet part out loud, then wraps the whole sad truth up in something genuinely cute.
