Hi guys, i need help.

I found a used, modded Switch Lite online and bought it. The seller stated that they updated the official system and, after that, could no longer access CFW. When the Switch arrived, I put the SD card into my PC and noticed it didn't have a NAND backup or an emuMMC file. I copied the latest HATS pack to the card, turned on the Switch, and when I try to access OFW, I get a blue screen. Is there any possibility that the blue screen is caused by the update? If so, how can it be fixed? If it's a hardware issue, I will try to return it to the seller.

Edit: An update for those who find this post in the future. It was the SD card and a corrupted update. I swapped the sd card for one I was sure worked and followed the tutorial by Sthetix on level 2 unbrick process, and now it works. I'm going to buy a new screen and finish the repair. Thank you to everyone who gave tips and tried to help.

Just picked up a Switch Lite off my local marketplace. It was cheap because it has these vertical lines on the screen. I know this is a common issue with the Switch Lite and usually just requires an LCD replacement, but this specific one is modded. Is there any chance the modchip/jailbreak could have caused this screen issue? I have zero experience with the Switch and don't want to go through the trouble of replacing the LCD for nothing.

My other question is about the jailbreak. The seller mentioned that after taking these pictures, they updated the system firmware, and now it won't boot into the CFW. Can anyone point me in the right direction to find information on this issue, or maybe even a tutorial on how to fix it?
