Question to all twow refugees: Would you play on blizz classic+

I know there was a similar post about this topic, but it was just broad discussion among everyone, but here I would like to emphasize more on what actual ex-twow players think about playing official classic+ (likely releasing in couple months from now). Does it matter for you what features will official classic+ have? What sort of criteria would you go with for choosing official classic+ or playing pservers these days? I am interested in all sorts of opinions coming from people who had played turtle before.

I personally will try out classic+ for maybe first couple days to maybe see if some of old friends decided to join it, but don't have any long term plans on staying there if it is not of my taste

Octo crushing GPU ALERT

Just today my whole computer become slide show fest, and then I could see LiveKernelEvent 1001 in event viewer with sub error 117, signifying GPU failures. Looks like these octo can't be trusted with not infecting pc with tons of malware. Anyone else experienced any pc failures after running octo?

UPD: my pc specs are following Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-14700HX cpu, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4060 Laptop GPU (8 GB) gpu, 16gb ram.

Prior to that did not do anything, loaded octo, spent like 10 min or less travelling and then slide show began

2026 proves it is becoming worse and worse to enjoy wow anymore

Looks like we entering the ultimate endgame for most of wow really (at least in terms of enjoying it). Basically there is 2 developments now which hint on this imo:

  1. Blizzard doesn't really care much about their games anymore, they keep bland boring expansions without much of really appeal, re-releasing classic whatever amount of times without really changing anything. They don't care about game and community integrity, they let bots running rampart. Game becomes somewhat stagnant a month after any new patch hits. Retail also just became some sort of lobby game where people just join raids and m+, and maybe some others do delves but that's about it. World doesn't matter anymore. Everyone is in their own bubble, barely even talking to each other in groups.

  2. Blizzard taking down pserver scene, we already seeing 2 giants fell and 3rd is coming in order (Nostalrius, then turtle, now Ascension). The future for anyone who enjoyed somewhat closer to community version of the game on pservers is now subjected to all these shutdowns and eventually being forced to only play on official servers by blizzard. Communities shatter, disperse, a lot of people stop playing pservers after this, due to waste of time and no guarantee of having long term cozy home.

At this point, only classic+ might be one final saving grace for the game we all love, but I highly doubt they will deliver it right. And if classic+ is not something I would like to play I would rather quit wow entirely, it is over guys, the era of wow is over.

Maybe other MMO's will rise but wow looks like it is stagnant and will not have that flavor we enjoyed anymore.

You can downvote this to hell, I don't care, just my couple cents on how I think about all of this situation with wow in general.

Octo launcher, anyone with tech skills who maybe can do analysis if it is actually malware

Since their launcher is open source as they claim, maybe someone who has tech skills can review all that code for the launcher to actually confirm if it is malware infested labubu thing, so everyone can know for sure if you can even trust it in any way to not infect your pc? That possibly would answer a lot of questions and various posts/comments saying it is 200% malware and trojan, meanwhile everyone could check it because it is opensource, but nobody really given any proof of finding virus from those lines of codes yet. At least I did not see any analysis of it
