Hi everyone,

I’m interested in purchasing an apartment/condo in Melbourne CBD, which most have body corporates & associated fees.  I’m quite unfamiliar with this arrangement as I’ve only ever owned free standing houses.

I read a post here recently about someone facing debt or arrears involving body corporate but it wasn't immediately clear to me why this would be the case.

As title suggests.

Where can I live with some comfort? Looking for a pretty basic lifestyle. Studio apartment with internet and gym membership is all I need to live and die.

What are my options? Any advice?
