The fact that bread has existed for so long is kinda crazy
Just think about it, most foods in ancient times were really simple, fruits, meats, rice, very basic and very simple things with minimal prep, because tools were very limited
And then there’s wheat, which, unlike everything else, is completely inedible in its grown form
Who walked up to a wheat plant and thought “you know what? I’m gonna take the seeds, grind the seeds into a fine powder, add water, cook the water wheat, and then eat that”
Like, who had that idea??
