Rear suspension squeak and possible missing piece?

So I heard a squeak from the rear while backing up and braking hard (was testing it). I’m thinking it could be the rear shocks/struts since they’re pretty corroded and showing their age, but I also noticed what looks like something missing on the driver rear side. Maybe I’m overlooking something, but it looks odd to me. Car has 125k miles. Powertrain is healthy and still under extended warranty. Recently got a brand-new front end after repairs, brand new A/C system and coolant flush, I did a RS brake conversion front and rear, and a bunch of new bolt-on parts/mods. Body is super clean overall. Suspension is basically the next thing on my list to refresh/upgrade. Curious what you guys think about the squeak and overall condition.

So I know you guys probably are thinking it just simply gave out, but it didn’t. I don’t think. So I just had new blue calipers installed and it’s been great and still looks great, but a couple of hours ago I was letting my car idle before shutting it off and I, for whatever reason, leaned over to check my phone and put some weight on my parking brake (I’m a skinny dude, so not a ton of weight lol) when pulled and it popped and went down a little bit. I heard it from the rear, but it doesn’t give out. They look completely fine on the calipers and it still pulls to the same height that it did before with a lot of tension, like it’s still hard to pull like before. It freaked me tf out and now I’m stressed out, lmao. I drove around and they brakes themselves sounded and felt completely normal and I on a slanted drive way pulled it while it was in natural and let it sit for a couple minutes with no issue, I always parking it in gear just incase it gives out, but I still.
