Wtf even is this app?

Wtf even is this app?

I planned a trip to London, sent out fifteen CS requests a week in advance, all personalized to the profile.

Seven were declined without any note - just straight up rejections and eight are "pending" (in other words haven't been declined yet).

The new application has no filters for me to see which users are actually active and using the site.

I mean, if this is the new experience of couchsurfing, what is the point? 😅 I guess hostels are going to become the main thing again? Right now this website / app isn't even solving the basic function it was designed to do.. and if I wanted to get rejected this much, I would just go up to random girls and offer to buy them drinks.

I've stayed six times as a digital nomad in Nepal, and wrote a guide to working and living remotely there and it’s free for everyone.

The guide is 60 pages, illustrated, which details why Nepal is my favorite country as a digital nomad - it's a place that really has it all.

Excellent work/life balance

So many things to do

Incredible cost of living ($500-600 a month is easy)

Friendliest people (and they speak English)

The spiritual / personal growth / adventure aspect which helps you grow

Here’s the guide with everything I thought fit to include :)

As we all know, the digital nomad life is not just fancy Instagram photos and sunny beaches. There are a lot of challenges that come along with this lifestyle. So I would like to know, if you feel like sharing, what is it that keeps you awake at night?

Please be as honest or vulnerable as you feel comfortable with, I would genuinely like to know if we share some of the same struggles in this journey.
