Anyone know why my distance field lava is so blocky?
I have a very simple distance field material node setup, everything looked great testing on my polygon plane. My material is done, it looks amazing, I then applied it to our lava 'rivers' and the scale is MUCH larger than the plane and the fields are SUPER blocky, the distortions are no longer smooth, they look awful and I can't find any information on a fix?
Using unreal 5.4 btw.
This is MADDENING. . . . . . . I really wish someone could help me.
