I would like to have my Schecter PT-Special modified to have full-sized humbuckers, but I need since advice.

Hello everyone,

As I said in the title, I would love to have this guitar body routed for humbuckers as shown in this video. I will not be performing this modification myself as I have neither the tools nor the skills to do this. I do have a few questions/concerns however.

The first one being how difficult would it be to find a luthier who is capable of performing this mod? Is this a service that guitar repair shops would typically offer? I live in the state of Georgia, but I am open to shipping the guitar to a luthier if necessary.

My second question would be about the bridge. I'm not sure what kind of bridge would be a good fit to replace the existing one.

And lastly, the pickguard. I wonder how possible it would be to reshape the pickup cavity in order to for a humbucker and possibly a pickup ring. Since this is a slightly uniquely shaped pickguard due to the control plate, I would assume trying to replace it with a new one would be impossible.

Aside from that, I would also be getting the pots changed to 500k pots with a push-pull for coil splitting on either volume or tone, but I don't expect this to be an issue. The existing 3-way switch should also be fine.

Thanks for any help you guys can provide.
