Does RaceChip actually work for daily driving or just racing stuff?
I have a 2019 GTI that I use for commuting and hauling the kids around. Not trying to gap people at stoplights but the stock map feels so flat in the midrange. Im not ready to tune because its not on my priority right now then a friend recommended RaceChip saying he used one for two years already with no issues but he also said it took a few days before the ECU learned the new inputs and he started feeling a difference. That part sounds questionable.
I just want better torque from 2500-4500 RPM. Is this worth for that use or should I just accept the car as is and save for a real tune later?
