Hey all,

I’m trying to figure out whether I should upgrade specific parts of my current setup or just bite the bullet and move to a newer-gen build.

Right now, my system is okay-ish — it runs most games decently, but I’m struggling to maintain a smooth, consistent ~140 FPS at 1080p, especially in more demanding or poorly optimized titles. After tweaking settings, it feels better, but still not where I want it.

I ran a benchmark, here are the results: https://www.userbenchmark.com/UserRun/73059110

My dilemma:

Do I just upgrade the weakest link (CPU? GPU? RAM?) Or am I at the point where upgrading one part will bottleneck something else anyway? Is it more worth it long-term to move to a newer platform (new CPU + motherboard + RAM)?

I’m not aiming for ultra settings in everything — just smooth, stable performance and good frametimes. Main games I play are Fortnite, R6 and CSGO 2

Would really appreciate advice from people who’ve been in a similar spot. What would you upgrade first based on the benchmark? Please let me know if I can share other benchmarks that would help with my situation.

Thanks 🙏
