As a non-American I am fortunate enough not to have him on the commentary which means my opinion of him is unchanged from what it was of him as a skater- i loveeeee him 😁 (ofc I hear things here and there but I’m ignoring them for my own sake 😔) anyway hope he has a great day :)
So for context- I need to find a shop/brand that works for my body type for jeans (I’m female, 168 cm)
My problem (I’m guessing quite common so praying someone will be able to help 😭) is that I have a super narrow waist, I’m not too tall BUT I do have a bum 😭😭 so my current jeans are way too long, WAY too big on my waist, but are perfect on my bum 🫠
Is there any brand that works for this body type?? I tried Levis before and they were AWFUL on me. Like actually terrible, I was shocked. I’m currently just wearing H&M but as I said, I really need to find something that sits much better.
Additional context is that I absolutely HATE shopping and usually wanna go back home 5 minutes after arriving at my massive shopping centre so would love like an actual list of shops so I can go straight to these and not have to just randomly go into all of them and try them all

In the midst of quite a bit of speculation on who will coach Nika and whether he’s leaving Team Tut, this statement is quite interesting I guess.
Although it doesn’t mean anything, and skaters previously have said the best things about their current coach and departed them the next day, it’s still an interesting insight.
Will be interesting to see what he does this season. From what I know he still hasn’t been back to Russia so we’ll see once he finishes training in Courmayeur with B E N O I T whether he’s back training with TT or not
Some big names showing their next seasons’ programmes for the first time tomorrow. I can’t see any link to get tickets so not sure if it’s open to the public but hoping we get some videos from someone somehow 😅
So I had this LTS coach for the first time today at level 6.
She immediately noticed my posture and upper body movement and knew straight away that I did ballet/gymnastics.
She was super enthusiastic the whole lesson about me and then approached me at the end and said she’d really really love to coach me if I’m looking to do privates.
So my dilemma is that my end goal is to be able to do doubles and spins. I believe my ballet coordination and strength will allow me to reach doubles but if not, I’ll be happy to get all singles. Then naturally I want to utilise my flexibility and do all the spins etc.
This coach is ‘specialising in ice dance and is an ISU technical specialist coach and choreographer and is qualified to officiate at European, World, and Olympic events’ as per the bio. I was initially (before she approached me) planning to do privates with an ex-singles skater as that makes more sense for spins and jumps. But I’m not really sure if there’s a difference 1) while I’m at this beginner level 2) for such ‘basic’ jumps like singles. Or is it substantial?
Basically I wanna make sure I do the right thing and not waste money on an ice dance coach but then I think of all the ex ice dancers who are great coaches of single skaters so idk if it matters?
I think it’s always better to train with someone genuinely enthusiastic about the potential (which she was and she’s definitely not short of lessons) as they’re gonna give more energy etc etc but idk if I need someone who was a singles skater not ice dancers
So firstly im becoming increasingly frustrated because why are the LTS coaches teaching different technique every week😵💫
Secondly which of these is correct?? One was taught by coach A last week, the other by coach B this week 🫠
Everyone found sliding way easier, however I was the complete opposite, and found lifting the foot way easier. I guess because I practised lifting it up the entire time until this coach started re-teaching me 🤦🏻♀️
Hi everyone, sorry very random and ridiculous question 😭 I just found some long-lost La Roche-Posay face cream samples in the back of my drawer, which expire in September. Just wondering if I can use them beyond September or if that’s a dumb idea.
I’ve got about 10 samples and they’re quite good sized so I’ll have a lot by September left. This stuff is insanely expensive so I never buy it (despite it being amazing and my fav) but I am praying I can get some use out of these and not have to throw them away 🥲🥲 of course they will be going in the bin if people say they’ve done this before and had side effects

As you can probably tell, I’m very bored today with a lack of figure skating news/discussions (usually there’s at least one post discussing something fun/interesting but hasn’t been any today 😆)

Is it just me or?? Yesterday he posted this pic but from further away on his story and I genuinely thought it was someone else. Today he posted it like this so I was like ‘ok this has to be him then’. But I’m actually flabbergasted at how different he looks?? I guess it’s the shaved beard/moustache + different hair AND glasses on top of that 😆
I find the sudden rise in international and leading choreographers working with the Russian athletes really interesting and can’t help but wonder if that reflects their confidence in being allowed back on the international stage 🤔

Basically the title, but I was rewatching some Fantasy on Ice footage and realised I have no clue why he stopped doing it, since he was consistently taking part since like 2010. Just wondering if there’s a specific reason or not really

I saw that younger Selevbro and also Samoylov are taking part in the ISU Development Camp in Nottingham, UK. Can someone explain what this is and who it’s for exactly? Does each skater decide if they wanna come? Is it only for specific skaters based on x y z? What’s the general aim? Etc etc
