A personal best though I don’t think I’m going to be winning any medals. 1k in 25 mins should be quite achievable in a less crowded pool. What are people best times for a 1k swim?

Repertoire suggestions

I’m looking for some guidance about repertoire. Been playing on/off for years. Piano isn’t my main instrument, but I’m a decent enough musician. I don’t have a huge amount of practice time so I like books of lighter pieces that offer some small challenges.

I’m currently making some progress though with a bit of (rare) consistent practice. I’m half way through Bergmüller op.100 and very much enjoying it, the pieces are pleasant and there seems to a few techniques being addressed. I picked up a copy of Clementi’s Sonatinas as well which seem to be a slight step up, but very achievable for me.

But yes, I’m very much enjoying these kinds of pieces. Even possibly finding them a bit addictive. Im not looking to “improve” rapidly, I just want a wealth of material at about this level to stew on for a while and build my confidence as a pianist.

Any suggestions?
