Every year I use TurboTAX Last spring using TurboTax I was told I was due $11K refund. This seemed off so I started a completely new return and got the same result. (My tax is super simple pension and company dividend.) Knowing this felt off I socked the $10K aside and forgot about it. Sure enough today “reassessment - $9K due”. Paying it is fine but I am wondering user error or TurboTAx? I assume user. The details of my reassessment will be post Oct 16th - looking forward to seeing them.
Has this happened to anyone else?
